la Cicchetteria

Our new bar is a cozy place with fresh, small Italian snacks/fingerfoods called "cicchetti," inspired by the Venetian tradition. It offers good coffee, aperitifs, beer, wine, cocktails and a variety of pizza slices. The ultimate spot for a true Italian aperitif. Perfect for drinks with friends or as a prelude to an evening at the Trattoria.

The Cicchetteria is located right next to the Trattoria and has its own terrace.

Drinks also served directly from Italy. 

Our wine list features wines from various Italian regions. We also have a great beer menu. We serve Peroni on tap and a fine selection of specialty beers from Menabrea. We also offer Radler 2.0, gluten-free and alcohol-free Peroni beer, and our own house brand IPA - Il Pecorino Amsterdam. All our soft drinks are Italian as well. We serve about ten flavors of Polara, and we also have a wide range of 0.0% alcohol options.
Our iced tea is San Benedetto, our cola is Molé, and our water is from Dolomia.
It doesn't get more Italian than that!

Our name

Pecora is the Italian word for sheep, and Pecorino also means sheep's cheese.
It was once a logical name for a shop selling Italian specialties in the Van der Pekstraat in Amsterdam Noord, as Il Pecorino once was. Later, it grew into an authentic trattoria and at that time also pizzeria on the beautiful Van der Pekplein.

But today: we are a genuine Trattoria with a cozy bar-bottega-cicchetteria.
